Sophie Turner shot to fame for her role as Sansa Stark in Game of Thrones. She first appeared on the show at the age of 14. The show's final episode premiered when she was 23. Kit Harrington and Rose Leslie who also starred in lead roles in Game of Thrones got married in June 2018. The ceremony took place on Leslie's family's property in Aberdeen, Scotland.
In ELLE UK's "It's a Mood" series on YouTube, Turner admitted that she regretted her outfit at the wedding. It was a red blazer dress by Louis Vuitton. Maisie Williams wore a black jumpsuit with red heels.
"I'll forever regret this look," Turner said. Calling it one of her “worst looks," she said. "This is at Kit and Rose’s wedding, and I had a fashion emergency. Both of my really classy dresses that I picked out did not fit me, because they had arrived the day of the wedding, and I hadn’t had a chance to try them on, and they didn’t fit me."
She paired black thigh-high boots with the suit. Turns out, those were also not her favorite. "It was either like the thigh-high boots or these nice heels," Turner said. "But I felt like, well if I just wear the heels then all of my legs is showing - if I cover up a little bit… it was a disaster. Just, worst fashion choice."
Another one of her dresses, an Alexandre Vauthier gown, made headlines for a different reason. The reason being that Taylor Swift wore it already. About this, Turner said. “I wanted to be a Bond girl for the night... I know that Taylor Swift wore this before to an event and she looked much better in it than I did.”
