Spadikam 4K Re-release: New Version Is 8.5 Minutes Longer Than The Original; Mohanlal's Entrance Scene Re-shot

Spadikam, one of Mohanlal's biggest box office successes, has been re-released in theatres today. The blockbuster action movie has been made available in 4k format. The movie has gained cult classic status among Malayalam viewers over the course of the year. The upgraded version, according to director Bhadran, is 8.5 minutes longer than the original movie. The Mohanlal starrer has received a few more shots in the updated edition. The filmmaker disclosed that 500 goats were used in a reshoot of Mohanlal's character Aady Thomas' entry. There were only forty goats in the original version. The director also revealed that Spadikam 4K's OTT release won't happen any time soon. They intend to offer the new version of OTT in three years. Spadikam tells the story of a small-town thief who is constantly at odds with his stern school headmaster's father. The action film was developed and directed by Bhadran. It also features important roles by Thilakan, Urvashi, Spadikam George, K. P. A. C. Lalitha, Rajan P. Dev, Silk Smitha, Nedumudi Venu, Chippy, and V. K. Sreeraman. Spadikam premiered in 1995. It did remarkably well at the box office. It became the highest-grossing Malayalam movie with lifetime earnings of more than Rs. 8 Cr. The film's enormous success has been greatly attributed to the overwhelmingly positive reviews it has received from both reviewers and moviegoers, as well as to the outstanding word-of-mouth promotion. Mohanlal also has a sequel to Lucifer called L2: Empuraan. Fans are delighted as this will be bigger than the first movie. The movie's directed by Prithviraj.
