Sreemukhi is one of the popular hosts in the Telugu television arena. With shows like Pataas and Saregamapa, Sreemukhi became a star on the small screen. She had also participated in the third season of Bigg Boss Telugu last year. She ended up as a runner up of the season. People got to know about Sreemukhi's real self during this show. Despite all this stardom, she rarely acts in movies. She says that she heard many scripts but nothing excited her. She also added that most of the makers used to ask her to act in bold scenes, kissing scenes and a few of them have also asked her for 'commitment.'
Sreemukhi recently participated in the show Alitho Saradaga. Speaking in the show, She said that her father warned that Julayi should be the last film in her career. But Sreemukhi signed a couple of films after Julayi. Later, she has decided not to act in films anymore. She got a lot of offers in the meantime and most of them are of small films. All those makers used to ask Sreemukhi to expose, kiss or do bold scenes in their movies. Some of them also asked her for her commitment. Thus, Sreemukhi got fed up with all of them and decided not to act in films.
Sreemukhi also revealed that Trvikram once told her not to do too many TV shows as it will affect her film career. But right now, she is happy with her career and has no plans of re-entering into films.
