SRK - Atlee film Jawaan Is Now Free From Plagiarism Charges

Atlee is a well-known Tamil filmmaker. He will debut in Bollywood with his upcoming film, "Jawaan". The movie will feature Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role. Atlee has recently been accused of plagiarising "Jawaan" before the Tamil Film Producer Council. The Tamil Film Producer Council has now dismissed the accusation of plagiarism against "Jawaan." Manickam Narayanan, a Tamil filmmaker, filed a lawsuit against the director. The case alleged that the plot of "Jawaan" and the Tamil film "Perarasu" from 2006 are the same. Manickam Narayanan was initially requested for evidence of his complaint by the Tamil Film Producer Council (TFPC), the organisation that looked into the case. As per reports, now it has been proved that the "Jawaan" and "Perarasu" stories are not the same. Now the lawsuit has been dropped.

Atlee and his "Jawaan" team may breathe easier now as the plagiarism charges are dropped. 'Jawaan' is currently in production and is scheduled for release on June 2, 2023. Deepika Padukone, Nayanthara, Yogi Babu, and Priyamani, among others, play significant roles. Shah Rukh Khan is rumoured to be playing a dual character in the film. The soundtrack is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, a well-known musician who is also making his Bollywood debut with this movie. Shah Rukh Khan was seen in a furious avatar in a breathtaking trailer for the movie "Jawaan".
