SRK's Pathaan Collections Overtake KGF 2 Hindi Collections

Bollywood Superstar Shah Rukh Khan's latest film, Pathaan, was released on January 25th this year. The film marks the actor's comeback to the big screen after 4 long years. His last release was Zero in 2019, which turned out to be a huge disaster. Pathaan turned out to be a huge success upon its release, turning out to be Bollywood's biggest opener, and also a huge success for Bollywood in a really long time. Pathaan continues to be good at the box office, despite the fact that the collections of the film are not that good on weekdays. The film's overall collections have now overtaken that of KGF 2's Hindi version. Pathaan collected Rs. 438.5 Crores on the whole until its second Monday. This is higher than KGF 2's Rs. 434.7 Crores collection, which the film made during its lifetime. Now, Pathaan is the second highest grosser, behind Baahubali 2.

Pathaan is directed by Siddharth Anand, for whom this is the third consecutive success. He previously scored two successes in the form of Bang Bang and War. On the other hand, Deepika Padukone is the leading lady of Pathaan, while John Abraham is the primary antagonist. John Abraham has been receiving a lot of praise for his performance in the film. SRK will next be seen in Tamil director Atlee's film Jawaan. Nayantara is the leading lady of this film, in which Vijay Sethupathi will be seen as the antagonist. The promo of this film was released last year.
