The combination of Complete Actor Mohanlal and maverick director Priyadarshan is one of the most celebrated collaborations of Malayalam Cinema. The duo has teamed up for more than 40 films till now. Now, they are coming up with their new film, Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham. Speaking in a recent interview, Priyadarshan said that Mohanlal's blind trust and his hard work to keep up to that trust makes their combination a successful one at the box office.
Priyadarshan stated that whenever he approaches Mohanlal with a script, the actor doesn't listen to it and gives his nod immediately. He trusts Priyadarshan completely. Priyadarshan feels it has a responsibility to keep up to that trust and makes the films with utmost conviction. He doesn't want to lose Mohanlal's faith in him. That makes their combined work so well.
Marakkar is a high budget war drama that will release in multiple languages. It features an ensemble of the cast which includes, Manju Warrier, Arjun Sarja, Suneil Shetty, Kalyani Priyadarshan, Pranav Mohanlal, and Keerthy Suresh. It is being produced jointly by Antony Perumbavoor, Santosh T Kuruvilla and Roy CJ under their respective banners Aashirvad Cinemas, Moonshot Entertainments and Confident Group. It will hit the screens worldwide on March 26.
