Story of Radhe Shyam Inspired By Mysterious Train Incident
Young Rebelstar Prabhas and Pooja Hegde's upcoming romantic entertainer Radhe Shyam is in the last leg of the production. Set in the backdrop of 1970s Europe, the film is being directed by Radha Krishna Kumar. The film has been on the sets since 2018 and except for a song, the entire talkie has been completed.
Ever since its inception, the makers aren't giving away anything related to the story and are also closely guarding the details pertaining to the characters of Prabhas and Pooja Hegde. However, the grapevine suggests that Prabhas plays the role of a palm reader, while Pooja will be seen as a school teacher.
According to a source, the story of Radhe Shyam is inspired by a true incident that happened in Italy, Europe, in 1911. It is learned that the story revolves around the concept of time travel. "The train carrying both Prabhas and Pooja Hegde among others mysteriously disappear as it enters a tunnel. While the authorities were wondering where it went, much to the surprise of everyone, it reaches a new location in the present era and both Prabhas and Pooja will meet there all over again. What happens next? Do they remember their past forms the crux of Radhe Shyam," says a source from the unit?
Produced by UV Creations, Radhe Shyam also features Krishnam Raju, Bhagyashree, Priyadarshi, and Sachin Khedekar in supporting roles. The film was supposed to hit the screens on July 31 but the makers have deferred its release due to the resurgence of Covid-19.
