Sulthan producer SR Prabhu thanks audience for review

Director Bakkiyaj Kannan made his debut with Sivakarthikeyan's Remo. Though the film received criticism for glorifying stalking, the film went on to perform exceptionally well at the box office. On April 2, director Bakkiyaraj Kannan's second film Sulthan release in the theatres. The commercial entertainer features Karthi, Rashmika Mandanna and KGF villain Ramachandra Raju in the lead roles. Sullthan saw a great opening in theatres and has been receiving favourable reviews from the audience and critics.

Producer SR Prabhu took to Twitter to thank the audience for the response. He also requested people to maintain decorum while giving their reviews. He wrote, "So happy and grateful to audience for giving us a grand opening. Indeed a career-best opening for #Sulthan @Karthi_Offl. It has become a breather for the whole film industry in this difficult time. All full shows makes our heart filled with joy! Thanks again! #JaiSulthan. Many of our films have been supported by reviewers. I am always thankful to them. Few may have other opinions about #Sulthan. I value that. But let’s keep some decency in our choice of words. After all it is CINEMA and AUDIENCE who bring food to (y)our plates! #SulthanReview (sic)."
