After taking a gap of one year, actor Sumanth is prepping up to start his new film. This untitled movie will be a remake of recent Kannada hit Kavaludhari. The project launched the other day with a formal pooja ceremony. Pradeep Krishnamoorthy will helm this project.
Actor Suriya's father Siva Kumar attended the pooja ceremony yesterday. Popular Tamil producer Dhananjayan will bankroll this project. Nandita Swetha is the female lead and Pooja Kumar will essay a pivotal role in this movie. Simon K King will compose the music for it.
Directed by Hemant Rao, Kavaludhari is a mystery thriller that revolves around a murder case. Sumanth plays the role of a cop in the remake. Kavaludhari is a big hit in Kannada and Sumanth is hoping to score the same success in Telugu with its remake. The regular shoot of this film will start very soon.
On the other hand, Sumanth also signed another movie which is the remake of a popular Malayalam hit. Sumanth decided to continue the success form with back to back remake movies.
