Suniel Shetty Says That Kartik Aaryan Will Not Play Akshay Kumar's Raju In Hera Pheri 3

As a result of his recently launched show, Dharavi Bank, Suniel Shetty is currently receiving raving reviews and praise. Vivek Oberoi has a significant role in the series, which was released on an OTT platform on November 19. Recently, Suniel Shetty discussed the rumours surrounding Hera Pheri 3 in an interview.

The internet exploded when Paresh Rawal tweeted that Kartik Aaryan would be appearing in Hera Pheri 3. Soon later, Akshay Kumar announced at a gathering that he had chosen not to participate in the third part due to the script. Suniel Shetty was as shocked to learn about Akshay's abrupt departure from the most popular franchise as were the Hera Pheri fans.

During the conversation, Suniel was questioned on how he felt after seeing Paresh Rawal's tweet regarding Kartik's participation in Hera Pheri 3. He claimed that when he learned that Kartik was starring in the movie but Akshay was not, he was taken aback. He also made it clear that Kartik is not taking Akshay's place because he won't be portraying Raju in Hera Pheri 3, "We were clear that this was the trio that was doing it and after a long time, it had fallen into place. So for me also it was an absolute surprise that Akshay is not doing the film and Kartik is doing the film. At the same time, I also know now that Kartik is doing the film but he is not playing Raju. Now, what the turn of events is, what has happened to the script is something that I need to go sit down with them and find out what all this Hera Pheri is. Aur ye Hera Pheri Phir Hera Pheri kyu ho rahi hai. That is something that I need to know. The intention is very clear that the film needs to be made because it's been 14 years", Suniel said.

"For every actor, your IP and the brand that you have built are very important. I am excited about Hera Pheri 3, I am excited about Awara Pagal Dewaana and I am excited that Firoz Nadiadwala is doing Welcome. He's a close friend of mine and I wish him the best because he's had a bad 10 years. If somebody is coming out of the rut, he's a large-hearted producer, so good for him. But better sense prevails and everything falls into place", he added.

One of the most prosperous franchises is the Hera Pheri one owned by Suniel, Paresh, and Akshay. The first part was published in 2000, and the second one followed in 2006. Both movies did well at the box office, and Shyam, Raju, and Baburao Ganpatrao Apte from them became iconic figures.
