Bollywood actors and Indian cricket players have always maintained a close connection with each other. There are so many cricketers who married to Bollywood actresses. For instance, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma, Yuvraj Singh and Hazel Keech, Harbhajan and Geeta Basra, etc. Apart from these, there are so many examples of such couples dating each other and one of them is Athiya Shetty and Indian skipper K L Rahul. Apparently, both of them are frequently spotted together on dinner dates and casual meet-ups. However, none of them has confirmed their relationship yet.
During a recent public appearance, Sunil Shetty asked to comment on the rumoured relationship of his daughter Athiya with KL Rahul and he said, "I am not having the relationship. You will have to ask Athiya about it." Sunil looked a bit irked while answering the question. "You come and tell me if it is true, then we will talk about it. You don't know, how can you ask me then, " he added.
KL Rahul is the opening batsman of the Indian Cricket Team. Currently, the whole team is playing one-day matches in New Zealand after winning by 5-0 in T20 matches with them. Meanwhile, Athiya Shetty's last movie Motichoor Chaknachur did not perform well on the big screens. The film also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the lead role.
