A story based on the life of a prematurely balding guy sounds familiar? Well, Ayushmann Khurrana's upcoming film 'Bala' and Sunny Singh starrer 'Ujda Chaman' have been in the news lately. The two films based on the similar stories were all set to lock horns at the box office post-Diwali. However, it seems like the clash is now averted.
Sunny Singh starrer 'Ujda Chaman' has secured a new release date. The film will now hit the screens a week before Ayushmann Khurrana's 'Bala' on November 1. The makers of the film have released a new poster in which they have revealed the new release date.
The film gives an insight into Chaman Kohli's life, a Hindi lecturer dealing with premature baldness at the age of 30. After facing several rejections as a prospective groom, Chaman gets on a mission to find himself a wife within a deadline or remain a celibate forever. The film has an inspiration from the 2017 Kannada film Ondu Motteya Kathe.
Directed by Abhishek Pathak, 'Ujda Chaman' features Sunny Singh, Maanvi Gagroo, Karishma Sharma and Aishwarya Sakhuja in pivotal roles. The film supposed to release on November 8, will now hit the screens on November 1.
