Alluri Seetharama Raju is the 100th film of Krishna. It got directed by V. Rama Chandra Rao. It had hit the screens on May 1, 1974. The film is a biographical drama based on the life of freedom fighter and Manyam leader Alluri Seetha Rama Raju. Until then, only a set of Telugu people know the story of this unsung hero. But after this film, everyone across the country came to know about the heroics of Alluri. Apparently, NTR wanted to do a film on this freedom fighter.
