Superstar Mahesh Babu's first-ever blockbuster Murari completes 19 years today

'Murari' is undoubtedly one of the most memorable films in Superstar Mahesh Babu's career. In fact, it is his first-ever blockbuster in his career as a lead actor. The film released today, 19 years ago and the fans of Mahesh Babu are making it a big trend on social media.

 
Directed by ace director Krishna Vamsi who was in a great form, that time, Sonali Bendre played the female lead with actors like Lakshmi, Sukumari, Kaikala Satyanarayana and Gollapudi Maruthi Rao in lead roles. The movie got released on February 17th, 2001. It has been 19 years since the release. Today, on the completion of 19 years, the fans have been remembering some iconic scenes from the film. Mani Sharma composed the music for the film which also became a musical hit. The film revolves around Murari (Mahesh Babu) whose Zamindar ancestors have been victims of Goddess Durga's generational curse and also deals with his family's trails for the redemption to overcome the curse.
 
On the other hand, Mahesh Babu who recently scored a super hit with 'Sarileru Neekevvaru' under the direction of Anil Ravipudi is going to join hands with his 'Maharshi' director Vamsi Paidipally for his next project.
