Surbhi is a well-known actress in both Tamil and Telugu industries. She is quite popular for her works in films like Velai Illa Pattadhari (Raguvaran B.Tech in Telugu), Beeruva, Gentleman, Okka Kshanam and Express Raja. Her last Telugu film was the 2019 release Voter, which had Vishnu Manchu as the lead.
Now, Surbhi is all set to make her Kannada debut opposite star hero Ganesh. Surbhi got selected as the female lead in Ganesh's upcoming film which is being directed by Suni. This is the second film in the combination of Suni and Ganesh, after 2017 blockbuster Chamak. Suni has confirmed Surbhi's inclusion in the film and stated that she plays the role of a television anchor in it. Suni also added that Surbhi's role will be a crucial one in the movie.
There will be another female lead in the film, who is yet to get finalized. Suni said that he is currently busy in finalizing the cast and crew of this untitled project. He stated that the shoot will begin after signing up for everyone. Meanwhile, Ganesh is currently working on the film Galipata 2. This is a sequel for his super-hit 2008 film of the same name.
