Suresh Gopi is a popular Malayalam actor who has acted in more than 200 films in his career. He also appeared in a few Hindi, Telugu and Tamil films as well. But after joining Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Suresh Gopi has quit the films and focussed only on his political career. His last film was My God which got released in 2015.
After a gap of five years, he made his comeback now with the movie Varane Avashyamund. This drama also features Dulquer Salmaan, Kalyani Priyadarshan and Shobana in the other lead roles. Directed by Anoop Sathyan, this film had hit the screens on February 7th and opened to good reviews. It is having a decent run at the box office and people are loving the comeback performance by Gopi. He got presented in an unconventional role, which has got clicked big time.
Even Shobana made a comeback with this movie after a long time and her character is also getting rave reception from the viewers. As there are no other big released this weekend, Varane Avashyamund might have another good week at the box office. Meanwhile, Suresh Gopi is now acting in the film Kaaval, directed by Nithin Renji Panicker.
