Actor Suriya is about to start filming with filmmaker Siva, 3.4 years after initially announcing their partnership. We previously stated that the August 2022 start date for this movie, provisionally titled Suriya 42, had been set. As on the latest information, Suriya 42 will start filming on August 22, 2022.
Studio Green and UV Productions are said to have collaborated in the production of Suriya 42. On the remaining members of the cast and crew, an official announcement is pending.
Suriya has postponed "Vanangaan" and would instead begin "Suriya 42" with Siruthai Siva before picking up the previous film with director Bala.
According to the most recent sources, Suriya and Siruthai Siva will participate in the "Suriya 42" pooja event on August 21. Additionally, the shooting will start on August 22. (the next day of pooja). The first schedule has been planned by the creators for more than a month. Suriya will return to the "Vanangaan" sets before the end of September.
The cast and crew are still being finalised by the team. The cast and crew will be disclosed in a formal announcement that will be made soon from the production side. "Suriya 42," a UV Creations production, is rumoured to be a gigantic two-part production.
For his work in "Soorarai Pottru," Suriya recently earned the Best Actor National Award, and viewers praised him for his brief appearance in Kamal Haasan's "Vikram." The director Bala's "Vanangaan," director Vetrimaaran's "Vaadivasal," and an untitled project with filmmaker Siruthai Siva are among the projects in development for the leading actor.
