Now, it looks like he is all set to get back with one of his favorite directors. Reports suggest that Suriya is in talks with director Bala for a new film. It was director Bala who gave Suriya the much-needed break in his career with his film Nandha. Through Nandha, Suriya established himself as a solid performer and his fame skyrocketed since then.

Years after Nandha, Suriya and director Bala once again joined hands for Pitha Magan, which also starred Chiyaan Vikram. Once again, Pitha Magan offered a new recognition to Suriya and his career. Now, the successful duo is all set to team up for the third time. Reportedly, the pre-production work of the film is progressing and the film could go on floors by the end of this year. Reportedly, the film will also feature another hero. Suriya's 2D Entertainment will be bankrolling this venture.
