Gautham Vasudev Menon is one of the finest filmmakers in South India who is best known for his sensible love stories. Over the years, he has become a poster-boy for romantic films and all the heroes try to do at least one film with him. Menon made his debut with the film Minnale and this year completes his 20 years of filmdom. It has been two decades for Minnale's launch and thus, the fans are celebrating the director's 20 years film career.
One of Gautham's close friends and Star hero in the Tamil film industry, Suriya has congratulated the director on this achievement. Suriya and Gautham have worked together for the films Kaakha Kaakha and Vaarnam Ayiram.
Suriya recollected that he met Gautham at a bachelor's party in 1998 and eventually, they ended up working together in 2002 for Kaakha Kaakha. He said that both the films he worked with Gautham are special in his life and he wouldn't think of his filmography without those movies. Suriya also spoke about Gautham's impeccable music sense which makes him stand out from the other makers.
After watching Suriya's video, Gautham commented, "Thank You. Some Of The Best Times Ever Was With You Brother. And Yes, I'm Going To Ask You To Pick Up That Guitar Very Soon ... "
Gautham is now planning to do a musical love story set in London, with Suriya as the lead.
