Suriya is fresh off from a string an of flops, which has changed his dynamics in the market. The actor has pinned all his hopes on his upcoming film, Soorarai Potru. Directed by Sudha Kongara Prasad, who proved herself in Irudhi Suttru and Guru in Telugu.
Soorarai Potru is based on the life of Air Deccan founder AG Gopinath. The film’s production is currently underway while composer GV Prakash is busy with the music for the film. Recently, he revealed that Suriya will be lending his voice for a song.
GV Prakash took to Twitter to reveal that he is working on the theme music titled Maara. In a surprise announcement, he shared that Suriya will rap his portions in the song. The actor recently recorded his portions and shared a selfie with GV Prakash.
Recently, the first-look poster of Soorarai Pottru released in which Suriya is taking a leap. His character in the film is called Maara. The film also features Aparna Balamurali, Jackie Shroff, Mohan Babu and Paresh Rawal in supporting roles. Suriya’s own production banner 2D Entertainment is bankrolling the film.
