Suriya is celebrating his birthday with a double party after winning Best Actor at the National Film Awards. While greetings have been coming in since yesterday, Suriya's birthday has just been even more memorable when actor Rajinikanth sent his deepest wishes. Suriya and the Soorarai Pottru team won big at the National Trophies with 4 awards and Rajinikanth congratulated them on Twitter.
Rajinikanth posted on Twitter, saying, "#NationalFilmAwards My heartiest congratulations and appreciation to Surya @Suriya_offl who won the National Film Award, the film director and all the award-winning film artists." Many Kollywood stars, including Radikaa Sarathkumar, Khushbu Sundar, Divya Spandana, Dhanush, R Madhavan, and others, expressed their congratulations to the Soorarai Pottru team.
Suriya also sent a sincere statement on Twitter thanking his followers for their support and well wishes as he received his first national award in his career of 17 years.
