Suriya Resumes Shoot Of Pandiraj's Film

Suriya has commenced shooting for director Pandiraj's untitled film after thelockdown 2021.

As the Tamil Nadu government relaxed the lockdown guidelines, film and television shootings have resumed in the state. As reported earlier, Suriya is waiting for the release of his short film Guitar Kambi Mele Nindru, which is a part of Mani Ratnam's anthology Navarasa, which will stream on Netflix from August 6. After Navaraasa, Pandiraj has joined hands with actor Suriya for a rural entertainer. The shooting of Pandiraj's film has commenced post lockdown 2021. Apart from Suriya, Sathyaraj and Priyanka Arul Mohan are part of the film as well. Cinematographer Rathnavelu took to social media to announce the same.

Cinematographer Rathnavelu's tweet read,

The shooting of this film initially began in March. It came to a halt due to the second wave of the novel coronavirus pandemic. Suriya had played an extended cameo in Pasanga 2 and a guest appearance in Kadikutty Singam. This film will mark their third collaboration. The film is produced by Sun Pictures and was launched on Suriya's birthday last year.
