Actor Mammootty and actress Jyotika are collaborating on the upcoming Malayalam film "Kaathal - The Core." Jeo Baby is the director of the film. The team is now shooting in Ernakulam. The movie's filming started earlier in October. Surprisingly, actress Suriya stopped into the movie's set and spoke with the crew.
Pictures of Suriya seated at the lunch table with Jyotika and Mammootty are going rounds online. Suriya previously admitted he was moved by the movie's concept while posting the poster. Jyotika just recently started working on the shoot a few weeks ago.
The movie is directed by Jeo Baby of "The Great Indian Kitchen" fame. Adarsh Sukumaran and Paulson Skaria wrote the screenplay for Jeo Baby's directorial. "Kaathal - The Core," is said to be a life drama set in the 1990s. The soundtrack for the movie is being composed by Mathews Pulican. Salu K Thomas will be in charge of the cinematography.
'Kaathal' is currently a Malayalam film. But due to Jyotika playing the female protagonist and Mammooty's previous successful dubbed releases, the movie is anticipated to have a simultaneous dubbed Tamil release.
