Suriya42 Suriyas Film With Siva To Start Filming Tomorrow In Chennai

The Puja of #Suriya42 directed by Siva happened yesterday and the filming will start by tomorrow. Gnanavel Raja, the producer of the film said yesterday, “The Chennai schedule will go on for about 10 days, post which we will head to Goa in mid-September. We will shoot there for almost 25 days.”

The film is being made as a pan-Indian feature. “We will be releasing it in 10 languages, including Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Hindi, Marathi, Bengali and Oriya,” Raja said to a media. Disha Patani, who will be making her south debut with the Telugu film Project K, is reportedly in talks to play the female lead, and Devi Sri Prasad, who previously worked with Suriya on the soundtracks for Siva's Veeram and the Mayavi, Aaru, and Singam franchises, is reportedly reuniting with the duo for this project. Gnanavel, however, keeps quiet regarding the movie's cast and staff. All he will say is that "we will be unveiling the motion poster next week, and also be making formal announcements soon." Suriya will simultaneously be working on Bala's Vanangaan, in which he plays a character who is deaf and hard of hearing. Vaadivaasal, directed by Vetrimaran is the next film Suriya will soon start working on. The pre- production works are going on for the project.
