In an interview with Film Companion, Kamal Haasan said that the love he received from the cast and crew of the film Vikram made his job easier. Kamal Haasan said that the film Vikram has Suriya in the last minute appearance and that maybe it will take the story to a third party.
“I'm a competitor when it comes to acting with any actor. But the film has to succeed. My guru K Balachander has told me never to try to own a scene. Your scene will come looking for you no matter what. This is because the director of the film has a precise understanding of the placement of each actor in each scene. At the same time, a director tries to develop the characters and make the film better. That's why I'm an obedient scene player.
Everyone in Vikram was grown up. They were fully aware of their characters and performance. So all I had to do was take care of my affairs. Above all, I like the cast and crew of the film Vikram. That made my job easier. I just had to take care of myself;” said Kamal Haasan.
Kamal also said that Suriya has a role in the film and that it might take the film to a third party. “Suriya also has an incredible last-minute appearance in the film. Maybe that character will take the film forward after Vikram, maybe to the third part;” said Kamal Haasan.
