The demise of actor Sushant Singh Rajput has shaken the whole nation. The 34-year old actor took his own life in his flat in Mumbai. The actor was reportedly suffering from depression and stopped taking his pills from quite some time. After attending the funeral of Sushant, his friend and director Mukesh Chabbra wrote a heartfelt note.
 
He wrote, "Sushant was like a brother to me. It is so unfortunate and heartbreaking, and I cannot even put it down in words. Sushant was an introvert, but he was really intelligent and talented beyond words. The industry has lost a gem, an irreplaceable gem. Deeply saddened and shocked. I still can’t believe it. Our endless conversations have come to an abrupt end. I hope you are in a better place, my brother. Will always miss you and love you. .”
 
Sushant Singh Rajput's last film Dil Bechara was directed by Mukesh Chabbra and since then the two became good buddies. Mukesh was the first person to reach his house when the news of his suicide came out. Dil Bechara was supposed to release on 8th May but due to the lockdown it got postponed and the makers haven't revealed the medium of its release yet. Sushant's final rites were attended by many known faces from the industry including Shraddha Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, Vivek Oberoi, Rajkummar Rao, etc. Others in the industry paid their last tribute to the actor by posting on their social media.
