One such video was viral a couple of days ago. The video shows a group of policemen from the Panchkula station of Haryana, surprised elderly man, Karan Puri, with a cake on the accord of his birthday.
Initially, he was asked his name, to which he answers, “My name is Karan Puri. I live alone and I’m a senior citizen,” without the slightest idea about the surprise. And then the cops start singing “Happy Birthday” taking out the cake to which he bursts into tears. Eventually, he also dons a birthday cap and cuts the cake. He was so moved and had teared eye upon witnessing this gesture. Originally shared by IPS officer Pankaj Nain on Twitter, the video is garnering much love online and has gone viral.
Celebrities Taapsee Pannu, Adil Hussain, Ashoke Pandit have retweeted the video. The video has garnered around 33.6k view within the span of 21 hours of posting. This is the highest viewership for a video posted by on the police official handles of Panchkula. Amidst this pandemic crisis and fear of information and videos, such heartwarming video has spread positivity among the citizens in the lockdown.
