Taapsee Pannu begins shooting for Mithali Raj's biopic titled as 'Shabash Mithu'; Check out

Taapsee Pannu is on a roll after back to back shootings for her upcoming films. After wrapping up Rashmi Rocket, Taapsee has begin filming for Mithali Raj's biopic titled as 'Shabash Mithu'. In the post that Pannu shared on social media, she poses with a bat. She wrote, "And romance with the bat n the ball has begun.... long way to go but a good start is half job done :) This is going to be another milestone of sorts.... For our captain cool @M_Raj03 and all her #WomenInBlue #ShabaashMithu @rahuldholakia @AndhareAjit @Viacom18Studios."

In an earlier statement, Taapsee shared her experience of working in the film. *I’ve never played the game before, have just been a spectator and a hyperventilating fan of the game. Being on the other side is going to be a huge challenge I’ve thrown at myself. But I feel pressure brings out the best in me. This is probably that one common trait I can identify between me and Mithali," she had said. Adding further about her look in the film, she said, "We want to make it as convincing as possible, but it’s not as important to look like her as it is to perform and behave like her. I was constantly in touch with her while shooting for the poster. She texted me yesterday saying that there’s barely any difference between her and me [in the poster]. That validation matters a lot. I want her to say this after watching the movie, too.”
