Tamannaah Bhatia Believes That Pan-India Popularity Is A Fragile Concept That Ends With Shah Rukh Khan And Amitabh Bachchan

Actress Tamannaah Bhatia established herself in the Hindi film industry after making a name for herself in regional cinema. Baahubali, starring Bhatia and Prabhas, undoubtedly broke down borders and became one of India's most well-liked movies. And the actress now enjoys stardom across India. But she asserts that the idea of "big stars" is already obsolete because it has already ended with Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan.

The Entertainer actress was asked by Bollywood Bubble during a fun game of rapid fire on whether young South actors, including Rashmika Mandanna, Dulquer Salmaan, Samantha Prabhu, Vijay Deverakonda, and others, had the potential to become the next Hindi superstar. She didn't choose any of the names on the list, but she did give her response a unique spin.

The Himmatwala actress declared in response, “I think the idea of stardom has changed. I don’t think there is this concept of the biggest star. It ends with Shah Rukh Khan and Mr (Amitabh) Bachchan, if I may say so.” The portal questioned her about her favourite pan-Indian superstar as the game went on.“It’s a very fragile term. Unfortunately, this pan-India thing is a new phenomenon, a new fad”, she said in response.

Regarding her professional life, the 32-year-old actress released two OTT films back-to-back in September. The original Netflix version of Plan A Plan B starred her opposite Riteish Deshmukh before Babli Bouncer was released on Disney+ Hotstar. The actress is now preparing for her unannounced Malayalam film debut. Dileep will play the lead in the movie, which is directed by Arun Gopy.
