Producer Akshai Puri nominated Tamannaah Bhatia
for the 'one film a day challenge' challenge. Tamannaah kicked off the challenge by sharing the poster of the 1994 hit film Andaz Apna Apna. The challenge requires the participants to pick the 10 most influential films that have shaped their taste in film. They will further have to nominate someone to take part in the challenge every day. Tamannaah nominated Karishma Kapoor as she kicked off the challenge. A few months ago, Tamannaah had taken to her social media to share a photo of the two of them to say she sees Karishma as her idol! Tamannaah ran into Karishma at the airport and took a selfie with her 'idol' which she shared on her social media. It is only natural that she has nominated Karishma Kapoor!
Tamannah shared the poster with the caption, "Thanks @akshaipuri. I’ve been given the task of choosing 10 films, one film a day that has greatly influenced my taste in films. No expectations. Just the poster. Every day I will ask someone to do the same. If you’re not interested, no problem. If you are, then next up is @therealkarismakapoor."
Tamannaah will have to share 9 more posters in the coming days as a part of the challenge! Akshai Puri is already on day three. He has shared the posters for Amitabh Bachchan's Agneepath, the legendary film Sholay and Sanjay Dutt's Vaastav. Tamannaah and Akshai Puri have previously worked together on the 2018 film Next Enti? Akshai Puri co-produced the film along with Sachiin Joshi and Raina Joshi. The film also featured Sundeep Kishan in a lead role. The film marked director Kunal Kholi's Telugu directorial debut.
On the work front, Tamannaah was last seen in the 2019 film Action. Tamannaah will next appear in the Bollywood film Bole Chudiyan. She will also appear in the sports drama Seetimaar. Tamannaah will also appear in the Telugu remake of the Bollywood hit film Queen titled This is Mahalakshmi.
