Tamannaah took to Instagram to speak up for #AllLivesMatter in the wake of the killing of the elephant in Kerala. Tamannaah shared a photo of her face with a hand mark across her face indicating that people should speak up for issues. She says all lives matter, human and animal.
Tamannaah shared the photo with the caption, "Your silence will not protect you. Doesn't every life matter, human or animal? Muting any form of creation is against the universal law. We must unlearn and learn to be human again, express compassion and practice love. #AllLivesMatter #WakeUpWorld."
Recently, Sara Ali Khan took to her Instagram to share a photo read "ALL LIVES MATTER" striking the word "BLACK" on the post. The post saw hands of various colours, and an elephant trunk at the end of the image. She then subsequently deleted the photo after receiving backlash for her ignorance on crucial issues. Sara received comments like 'tone-deaf' and 'privileged' by several netizens. Sara was trolled for dismissing the Black Lives Matter movement.

Tamannaah will next appear in the Bollywood film Bole Chudiyan. The film also stars actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Shamas Nawab Siddiqui is directing the film. She will also appear in the sports drama Seetimaar. Tamannah will also appear in the Telugu remake of the Bollywood hit film Queen. The Telugu version titled This is Mahalakshmi also stars actors Shibani Dandekar, Roopa Lakshmi, Samarth Ashok Hegde, Geetanjali, and CVL Narasimha Rao. Queen will also be remade in Kannada and Tamil. The Kannada version titled Butterfly stars Parul Yadav as the lead. The Tamil version titled Paris Paris stars Kajal Aggarwal as the lead.
