Tamil heroine Amrita Aiyer to play the female lead in Naga Shaurya's new film

Tamil beauty Amirta Aiyer is striking gold in the Telugu film industry by bagging back to back offers. Even before her first Telugu film has hit the screens, Amritha is getting various offers from Tollywood. She is currently the part of Pradeep Machiraju's 30 Rojullo Preminchadam Ela and Ram's Red. Now, she got signed up as the female lead in Naga Shaurya's upcoming family action drama.

This film is being directed by debutant filmmaker Raja Kolusu and produced by Mahesh S. Koneru. The makers have felt that Amrita fits the bill to play the heroine in this film and had cast her immediately. Apparently, Naga Shourya will be playing a completely different role in the film and thus, the makers have decided to have a heroine on board with a fresh appeal. Thus, Amirta Aiyer came into consideration.

Amrita shot to fame with her performance as a footballer in Vijay's film Bigil (Whistle). Incidentally, Mahesh has bought the Telugu rights of that film. Now, he has signed up Amrita for his production venture. The regular shoot of this film will start in the next two weeks. The team is planning to release it in the second half of this year. Naga Sharuya was last seen in Ashwathama which was a failure at the box office.

Amrita Aiyer has already got a huge fan following on social media. A lot of people in the Telugu states started following her. If the film becomes a hit, it will certainly be a big boost for her career.
