Tamil lyricist Viveka recently scored a hit with Rajinikanth's Annaatthe Annatthe song in director Siruthai Siva's Annaatthe. Now, he is all set to make his debut in Mollywood with Freezer Number 18, which is a murder mystery. The film is directed by debutant filmmaker Manoj K Varghese. The film will have popular actors from the Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada film industries. The song will feature officers investigating the border of Kerala and Tamil Nadu. The film's song is composed by Sandesh Peter.
In an interview with The Times of India, Viveka said, "I have been a long-time fan of Malayalam movies, so I am happy for this opportunity. I feel Tamil and Kerala cultures are the same, and this feels like my hometown and I am a native of this place Vidyasagar belongs to the Tamil industry. He gives a lot of importance to language. He was a good listener. It is a wonderful feeling with the song being appreciated all over the world, also because it was SP Balasubrahmanyam sir’s last song for this particular tune, I felt Tamil, rather than Malayalam lyrics would be more apt, and I had followed Viveka’s writing pattern and like his philosophy. That was important to the song."
