'Tamilrockerz' Will Likely Have A Sequel, Says Arun Vijay
The much-anticipated Tamil web series "Tamil Rockerz," directed by Arivazhagan, will premiere on OTT on August 19 of this year. Actor Arun Vijay, who plays police officer Rudra in the series, has said that there would be a small opening for a sequel.
Actor Arun Vijay, who portrays police officer Rudra in filmmaker Arivazhagan's eagerly anticipated Tamil online series "Tamil Rockerz," has said that the series would contain a small opening for a sequel.
Arun Vijay said, "This is Season One. There is an open end. There will be finishing but there will also be a small opening for a sequel. You will get to know when you watch the series." The fictional series, which has been created by A V M Productions, one of India's oldest and most prestigious production companies, is based on actual events and centers on Rudra's attempts to protect the hugely expensive and eagerly anticipated film "Garuda" from an unnamed group of dangerous and powerful cyberpirates.
Many people think that the series was influenced by a group of video pirates who frequently dared Tamil cinema studios. If possible, the pirates would ask the production companies to prevent them from disseminating pirated versions of their movies. It is therefore not surprising that the web series has generated a great deal of attention from viewers, many of whom are interested in learning who ultimately was responsible for the significant piracy network.
Regarding his experience of working in the series, Arun Vijay said, "After playing this role in this web series, I have gained a better understanding of how video pirates operate. For that matter, after watching this series, everybody will get to understand where this is heading. I think we will take precautionary measures to handle this issue. Ultimately, the power to tackle this problem rests with the person watching pirated stuff. Everyone should get the thought that they must not watch pirated videos. That will eventually happen after watching this series."
According to sources, the series' director, Arivazhagan, and his team undertook a thorough investigation into how video pirates operate.
