Bollywood star Ajay Devgn celebrated the third anniversary of Om Raut's Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior on Tuesday, January 10. Tanhaji is also his highest-grossing movie. Ajay released a reel video, which was uploaded to the Instagram account of his production company. Several memorable scenes from the Om Raut-directed film were featured in the video montage.
Ajay Instagrammed a photo. He captioned, “Playing the role of Tanhaji was a dream and an honour, that resulted in the highest grosser of 2020 and also won us two National Award wins. Happy and Humbled.” For those who are unaware, Tanhaji is a huge hit with total revenue of Rs 279.55 crores.
The actor's second-highest-grossing film, Drishyam 2, was released in 2022. The key characters from the Abhishek Pathak-directed film were played by Tabu, Shriya Saran, Mrunal Jadhav, Ishita Dutta, and others. They have all triumphantly made a comeback in part 2. In the meantime, Akshaye Khanna made his acting debut as a cop in the Drishyam series.
With Bholaa and Maidaan on his upcoming schedule, Ajay Devgn has an intriguing lineup for this year. After Drishyam 2 was released, the actor flew to Varanasi to begin the filming of Bholaa. He revealed the wrap for the next movie earlier this month. The movie is scheduled to open in theatres on March 30, 2023.
