Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior: Costume designer of the film opened up about the attires in the film

Ajay Devgan’s upcoming film Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, will see him in a Maharashtrian attire. In the period film directed by Om Raut, the actor plays the role of Maratha warrior Tanaji Malusare. Ajay has portrayed an unmissable warrior look for the film, from a red pheta (headgear) to a plain white angarakha. The costume designer of the film Nachiket Barve said, “I had a very little material to go by while I researched about the outfits. I have emphasized a lot on the colors of his outfits. When it came to designing his headgear, I looked for the right color of red. Likewise, when it came to his accessories too, my focus was on picking the right tone of brown, and thus we selected the deep rich leather.”

The designer also talked about giving a twist to the character’s footwear as he said, “It's a different take on the very famous Kolhapuris.” Nachiket was also very appreciative of Ajay Devgn’s speed and efficiency, “Be it whatever you make Ajay wear, he gets ready very fast!” he concluded.
