Tanikella Bharani, the multi-faceted film personality celebrates his birthday today; Bharani turns 66

Tanikella Bharani is one of the popular actors in the Telugu film industry. With an amazing track record as a writer and actor, he has so far worked in more than 750 movies. Bharani's presence is evident in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Hindi movies. Tanikella Bharani is a multi-talented personality who can write, act, and direct films. Having made his debut as a theatre actor, he then turned writer and eventually an actor. Bharani celebrates his birthday today and he turns 66 this year.

Bharani finished his PG Diploma in theatre arts in 1983 from Osmania university. Tanikella Bharani started his career as a dialogue writer for Kanchu Kavachum in 1984. He also wrote dialogues for Ladies Tailor, Sri Kanaka Mahalakshmi Recording Dance Troupe, Varasudochhadu, Chettu Kinda Pleader, Swara Kalpana and many more. Bharani also acted in more than 750 movies and is still active. Bharani also acted in Hindi, in the film Main Tere Pyar Mein Pagal. Tanikella Bharani directed Mithunam in 2012 which opened to critical acclaims. Bharani is an ardent devotee of Lord Shiva on whom he wrote a popular song, "Aata Kadha Ra Shiva."
