Tanya Ravichandran bags Article 15 Tamil remake

Ayushmann Khurrana's Article 15 is one of the most appreciated Bollywood films of all time. The film is being remade in Tamil by director Arunraja Kamaraj, who debuted with Aishwarya Rajesh and Sivakarthikeyan's Kanaa. The Tamil remake of Article 15 features Udayanidhi Stalin reprising Ayushhman Khurrana's role. Now, reports suggest that Tanya Ravichandran has been roped in to play the female lead in the Tamil remake, which was originally played by Isha Talwar. The first schedule of Article 15 Tamil remake took place in Pollachi and they have now gotten back to Chennai.

A source told a popular entertainment portal, about Tanya's inclusion in the film. The source added, "Tanya has finished shooting for her portions in both SR Prabhakaran’s Rekkai Mulaithen, a murder mystery, in which she plays the lead role, and in Sam Anton’s film that has Atharvaa as the male lead. She then joined the shoot of Udhayanidhi’s film and was part of the first schedule.” The Tamil remake of Article 15 is being produced by Boney Kapoor of Nerkonda Paarvai and Valimai fame. The second schedule will begin sometime in the second week of May.
