Article 15 remake goes to Kollywood; Udayanidhi Stalin to reprise the role of Ayushmann Khurrana

Bollywood hit film Article 15 is now getting remade in Tamil. The remake rights of the film are sold in Telugu and Tamil languages already. Udayanidhi Stalin will reprise the role of Ayushmann Khurrana for the 22Tamil version. The film unit made the announcement of the film yesterday. Boney Kapoor will produce the film. Arunraja Kamaraj who made Kanaa is the director of the film.

Boney Kapoor tweeted, “Happy to announce remake of Article 15 in Tamil starring @Udhaystalin to be directed by Arunraja Kamraj. It’s a @ZeeStudios_ Studios & @BayViewProjOffl Projects Production. We continue the tradition of remaking strong content this time with @mynameisraahul of Romeo pictures.” Udayanidhi Stalin tweeted, "Excited to join hands with dir @Arunrajakamaraj producer @BoneyKapoor sir, @mynameisraahul @BayViewProjOffl and @ZeeStudios_ for the Tamil remake of #Article15" Anuraja Kamaraj tweeted, "Excited and Looking forward to Work with @Udhaystalin sir as lead. @BoneyKapoor sir, @mynameisraahul sir and @ZeeStudios_as Producers for my Second Directorial." Article 15 is directed by Anubhav Sinha, Ayushmann Khurrana's performance received a lot of praises. Ayushmann Khurrana, Nassar, Manoj Pahwa, Kumud Mishra, Isha Talwar, Sayani Gupta, Sushil Pandey, Veen Harsh, and Sumbul Touqeer played the lead roles in the film.
