It is no secret that Superstar Mahesh Babu runs a coterie in media circles and has a ' special team' to step in for him with a promotional drive, whenever needed. The latest buzz in film nagar circles is that Mahesh Babu's team along with the makers of Sarileru Neekevvaru is trying to put pressure on the team of Allu Arjun starrer Ala Vaikuntapuramlo to push the release date by a few days. While Sarileru Neekevvaru has locked its release on January 10, Ala Vaikuntapuramlo is expected to hit the screens on January 11. This is where the trouble began as Mahesh desperately wants to have a solo release and shift Allu Arjun's film by four-five days to January 15 to avoid box office clash. He wants to get everything about his film right and by all means, has been trying to pressurize the makers of Ala Vaikuntapuramlo citing Gentleman's agreement where no two big releases cannot release around the same time. However, this agreement doesn't usually come into effect during festivals as almost all the filmmakers want their films to register good opening. Now that Mahesh has stepped into the game with his producers, it remains to be seen what Allu Arjun and his producers decide to do next.
