Yesterday, we had reported that the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana governments have given permission to the exhibitors and producers of Maharshi to increase the ticket rates of the film for a few days.
However, Telangana government reveals that a few theatres have got permission from the court to increase the ticket praise. Minister Talasani said that the government did not give permission and it is unfair for the people to take over the burden.
He said he will take the help of the legal team to look into this issue. Producer Dil Raju said that the ticket prices are low in Telangana and high in Andhra Pradesh, at least on day one which is quite common for big hero movies.
Nearly 79 theatres in Telangana have increased the ticket rates for Mahesh Babu’s Maharshi. When asked the distributors, they said that they obtained permission from the court.
