The first look poster of the film Thaanara, is out. The film is being directed by Haridas and Rafi and produced by Biju V. Matthai under the banner of One Day Films. Titled 'Thaanara', the film stars Vishnu Unnikrishnan, Shine Tom Chacko, and Aju Varghese in lead roles. Jibu Jacob, Deepti Sati, Chinnu Chandini, and Sneha Babu are the other main characters in the film.
This film is being directed by Haridas, who is known for his films like Ooty Pattanam, and Kinnaripuzhayoram. After Dileep starrer Voice of Sathyanathan, this film scripted by Rafi is completely set in a comedy setting. The film is a highly entertaining depiction of what happens when a thief with a specific agenda enters the life of a young politician. Here, the thief is played by the noted young actor Vishnu Unnikrishnan, and the young political leader is played by Shine Tom Chacko.
The cinematography of the film is by Vishnu Narayanan. The film's final shoot is in progress in Pala, Ernakulam, and Goa. Bijipal and Srinath Sivashankaran are composing the music for the film. The film's editing is being handled by V. Sajan.
