Superstar Rajinikanth is currently filming the Sun Pictures production "Jailer," which was directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and features music by Anirudh. The cast of the movie includes Bigg Boss Saravanan, Vinayakan, Tamannaah, Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu, and Vinayakan. The actor's upcoming project, "Thalaivar 170," is also solidifying, and we were the first to let you know about it. According to reports, Lyca Productions would finance the film, which is expected to be directed by Cibi Chakravarthi of "Don" fame and includes Anirudh as the music director.
The 'Thalaivar 170' team has reportedly sought Arvind Swamy to portray the main adversary opposite Rajinikanth, according to the hot news making the rounds in Kollywood. According to reports, the two veterans will square off multiple times, providing spectators with a treat. The official confirmation will take some time as the project is at its very nascent stage.
Arvind Swamy made his acting debut in 1991's Thalapathy, a Mani Ratnam film starring Superstar Rajinikanth. After starring in the major roles of two more Mani Ratnam films, "Roja" and "Bombay," he later became a household name. After taking a long break to focus on his business endeavors, Swamy returned to Mohan Raja's 2015 film "Thani Oruvan," which starred Jayam Ravi and Nayanthara.
