June is a special month for the fans of actor Thalapathy Vijay as his birthday falls on the 22nd of this month. Every year, Vijay's fans start celebrations right from the beginning of the month and continue till Vijay's birthday. They organize public events and also do social activities. This year, Vijay has requested his fans not to organize any public events, in the light of the coronavirus pandemic. He asked them to stay at home and continue doing social work to the people who got affected by the pandemic.

 
According to the sources, Vijay sent his word to all his fans recently. He also requested them to not put up any banners or posters. He told them it is better to stay at home during these tough times. Meanwhile, fans have decided to celebrate the occasion on social media. They are planning to come up with hashtags to trend online. They are also expecting an announcement of Vijay's next project. We have to see if that happens or not.
 
Vijay is currently working for the film Master. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, this film features Vijay Sethupathi as the antagonist. Malavika Mohanan is playing the female lead in it. Shantanu and Andrea Jeremiah have played the other pivotal roles. Master was earlier slated for the release on April 9. But it didn't, due to the lockdown. The new release date will get announced once the theaters get reopened. Meanwhile, sources claim that the teaser of this film will be out on the eve of Vijay's birthday.
