Thaman's Ramulo Ramula Original Telangana Folk Song Goes Viral on Social Media

The music album of Ala Vaikunthapurramloo is undoubtedly one of the best in recent times. Many people praised music director Thaman for giving his best for the film in the days where it has become a rare sight to witness multiple chartbuster songs in a single album. But slowly, it is emerging that the compositions of this film are not entirely original, and that the music director has lifted tunes from somewhere else. Recently, the netizens proved that a certain background score from the film was lifted from the film Prema Desam. Now, it has been proven that blockbuster song Ramulo Ramula is not original, and Thaman lifted it from a television singing reality show.

In the last couple of days, a video is going viral from the television show Rasamayi Daruvu. The reason is that a song from that show has a similar tune as Ramulo Ramula. People who have doubts can watch that particular episode on Youtube. Thaman is facing a lot of flack from netizens for blatantly lifting the tunes and not giving credits to the original composers. They are demanding that he give a clarification on this.

However, Thaman has remained silent on this issue until now. It remains to be seen if he responds before his image becomes tarnished. The buzz is that it is Kasarla Shyam who came up with this folk tune, and he is the person who should take all the criticism. However, we have no real clarity on the same.

On the other hand, Thaman is currently composing music for films like Krack, Vakeel Saab, and Tuck Jagdish.
