Bollywood actors Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt were stopped by Bajrang Dal activists from entering the Mahakali temple in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. Bajrang Dal activists stopped them in protest over Ranbir's remark that he likes beef. Ranbir and Alia visited the temple on the occasion of the release of the movie Brahmastra. Police said that a case has been registered against the protesters under Section 353 of the Indian Penal Code.
An old video of Ranbir talking about his favorite food went viral a few days ago. Asked by the host about his favorite foods, Ranbir said that he likes red meat foods a lot and is a fan of beef. Then only this part of the interview was edited and hashtag campaigns against Brahmastra were also active on Twitter.
The boycott call is being carried out under the hashtag 'Boycott Brahmastra'. This was an interview conducted by a national media as part of the promotion of the film Rockstar 11 years ago. The posts were circulated in such a way that financial boycott is the biggest punishment that can be given to Bollywood and Shiva in Brahmastra is like this in real life.
