The Blockbuster Kantara To Make Its Prime Video Debut On November 24

The action-adventure film Kantara, written and directed by Rishab Shetty and produced by Vijay Kiragandur under the Hombale Films brand, has received a resoundingly positive reception from audiences around the world. Due to its success, the film—which was initially solely produced in Kannada—was later released in numerous other languages. The movie also features Sapthami Gowda, Kishore Kumar G, and Achyuth Kumar in significant parts in addition to Rishab in the lead role. And now we've learned that the movie will debut on OTT on November 24 through Amazon Prime Video.

 
From November 24, 2022, Prime members in India and 240 other countries and territories may access the thriller Kantara exclusively on Prime Video in Kannada, Telugu, Malayalam, and Tamil. When it comes to the story of Kantara, revolves around a small group of people who live in the Kaadubettu forests in the southern coastal state of Karnataka. A rebel fights to protect his town and the environment while weaving an enthralling story of human vs natural conflict in which a death sparks a battle between good and evil forces and Shiva.
 
"Audiences from all corners of the country have showered immense love on Kantara and I am extremely excited that with its global digital premiere on Prime Video we will be able to take our labour of love and hard work to a wider audience worldwide. It is a story that has universal appeal but the plot's local flavour will keep viewers intrigued until the very end!", wrote writer, director, and actor Rishab Shetty about the film's digital release.

Kantara will join the tens of thousands of Hollywood and Bollywood TV shows and motion pictures in the Prime Video collection. These are films and television shows made in India for Amazon Originals, including Maja Ma, Hush Hush, Crash Course, Panchayat, the Modern Love series, Suzhal - The Vortex, Guilty Minds, Mumbai Diaries, and The Family Man, among others.
