The Power Rangers is getting yet another soft reboot for its upcoming film on the silver screen. After a box office bomb in 2017, Lionsgate scrapped the idea of making a sequel to their own Power Rangers film. The franchise is now in the hands of Paramount who are looking to finally make the hit show into a successful film.

The film is being taken on by the creators of the hit Netflix show 'The End of The F***ing World'. The last Power Rangers film had distributed by Lionsgate and only made 140 million dollars with a budget of more than 100 million dollars.

Power Rangers has its beginning in the 90s hit kids show. The show is about a group of teenage boys and girls who find artifacts that give them superhero powers along with color-coordinated suits to enhance their strength. The show originally borrowed from a Japanese show but American television brought in other changes after the show became a hit.

Paramount's new attempt at the franchise brings the superheroes back into the 90s, to play on the franchise's cheeky nature. Only time will tell how this venture turns out.
