Bollywood actress Radhika Apte says that language does not determine the success or failure of a film. Thus, she is not interested in the debate between these Hindi and South Indian films. Radhika says she does not see any benefit in it. The response was to OTT play.
Radhika Apte is the central character in the Hindi remake of the Malayalam film Forensic. Radhika plays the role of a police officer played by Mamta Mohandas in Malayalam. Tovino Thomas' character is played by Vikrant Masi. Radhika was talking about remake movies after the release of the film.
Radhika Apte’s words: I think remakes and adaptations have their own charm. Because everything can be different in its depiction style. Then the change of language indicates that the image will reach more people. So I'm not interested in the Bollywood South Indian debate. I do not think there is any benefit in that. Bollywood is not just any film industry, it's now taking the story from other places, be it Korean, Spanish or Brazilian. And they remake it.
So if the movie is entertaining, the audience will see it. It also depends on what they want to see. Language never determines the success or failure of a film. So the debate between these Hindi and South Indian movies confuses me.
