The Family Man Actor Sharib Hashmi Says His 'Dream Of Working With Sushant Singh Never Materialised'

The Family Man 2 recently dropped on the Amazon Prime streaming app, and ever since the release, it has been getting rave reviews from the audience. Speaking about the success of his show, Sharib Hashmi aka JK Talpade says he's very happy and feels fortunate to bag this role.

Apart from this, not many people know that Sharib Hashmi always dreamed of working with the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. And he almost did when the film called Takadum was announced. "Who doesn't want to work with an actor like Sushant Singh Rajput," said Sharib. "He was a talented actor and a very nice human being. We were supposed to work in a film together called Takadum which was being directed by Homi Adajania. Along with Sushant, the film also starred Parineeti Chopra in the lead role. I was roped in to play a pivotal role in the film."

Unfortunately, the film got shelved and Sharib says his dream of working with Sushant never materialised. "Due to several reasons the film had to be shelved. Sushant left us and with that my dream of working with him also never materialised," he was quoted as saying. Sushant Singh Rajput died by suicide last year after he was found hanging at his apartment in Mumbai. His last film Dil Bechara released on Disney+ Hotstar, co-starring Sanjana Sanghi.
